1 v ABSTRACT In Indonesia at 1998 th has experienced a financial crisis which resulted in 80% of 280 companies that go public have even collapsed due to the company's asset value is far below the nominal rate debt or loan out their cities. This situation reoccurred in 2008, which resulted in some companies have to declare himself bankrupt. These circumstances I am interested to do research with the title "Analysis of Bankruptcy on Gozco Plantation.Tbk and PT Bakrie Sumatra Plantation.Tbk with Springate Method for the Period ". As for the research into the population is agobisnis company listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). In this research, the authors take the PT Bakrie Sumatra Plantation.Tbk and Gozco Plantation.Tbk as a sample. The analysis technique used is the financial ratio analysis techniques and engineering analysis models Springate bankruptcy. After doing the analysis and calculation of financial ratios can be said Gozco Plantation.Tbk has better performance when compared with PT Bakrie Sumatra Plantation.Tbk. It is also seemingly on the calculation model Springate bankruptcy which very clearly states that Gozco Plantation.Tbk continuously undergoing improvement while PT Bakrie Sumatra Plantation decline from year to year. 2 v i ABSTRAK Pada tahun 1998 Indonesia pernah mengalami krisis moneter yang mengakibatkan 80% dari 280 perusahaan yang go public harus mengalami kebangkrutan karena nilai aset perusahaan tersebut jauh dibawah angka nominal utang atau pinjaman luar negrinya. Keadaan ini kembali terjadi pada tahun 2008, yang mengakibatkan beberapa perusahaan harus menyatakan dirinya bangkrut. Keadaan semacam ini menarik penulis untuk melakukan penelitian dengan judul Analisis Kebangkrutan pada Gozco Plantation.Tbk dan PT Bakrie Sumatra Plantation.Tbk dengan Menggunakan Metode Springate untuk Periode Adapun dalam penelitian yang menjadi populasi adalah perusahaan agrobisnis yang listing di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Dalam penelitian ini penulis mengambil PT Bakrie Sumatra Plantation.Tbk dan Gozco Plantation.Tbk sebagai sampel. Adapun teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis rasio keuangan dan teknik analisis kebangkrutan model Springate. Setelah dilakukan analisis dan perhitungan rasio keuangan dapat dikatakan Gozco Plantation.Tbk memiliki kinerja lebih baik apabila dibandingkan dengan PT Bakrie Sumatra Plantation.Tbk. Hal ini juga telihat pada perhitungan model kebangkrutan Springate yang dengan sangat jelas menyatakan bahwa Gozco Plantation.Tbk terus mengalami perbaikan sedangkan PT Bakrie Sumatra Plantation mengalami kemunduran dari tahun ke tahun. Diharapkan dengan penelitian dapat membantu investor dalam mengambil keputusan investasi Kata Kunci : Krisis ekonomi, Kebangkrutan, Analisis Rasio Keuangan, Model Kebangkrutan Springate.
