4 Business Review SG termasuk dalam 10 BUMN s Excellent yang berhasil mencetak laba terbesar di tahun buku 2007 versi majalah Business Review edisi 03/Th 07/ Juni 2008

5 Proper Lingkungan Pada tanggal 25 Juni 2008 SG menerima pemberitahuan dari KLH tentang Penyampaian Peringkat Sementara Penilaian Peringkat Kinerja Perusahaan (PROPER) periode PERINGKAT HIJAU

6 Finance Asia Pada tanggal 4 Agustus 2008 SG memperoleh award untuk kategori Most Committed To a Strong Dividend Policy di urutan ke-5, yang diterima oleh Sekretaris Perusahaan SG, Sunardi Prionomurti.

7 Top Brand Award 2008 Tanggal 7 Agustus 2008 SG memperoleh penghargaan bergengsi Top Brand Award 2008 dari Majalah Marketing yang bekerja sama dengan Frontier Consulting Group.

8 Museum Rekor Indonesia Kado spesial di HUT SG ke-51 diberikan oleh Museum Rekor Dunia Indonesia (MURI) karena dinilai sebagai Pelopor Pelatihan dan Sertifikasi Tukang Batu Umum. Penyerahan penghargaan oleh MURI diwakili oleh Paulus Pangka kepada Dwi Soetjipto selaku Direktur Utama Semen Gresik pada 18 Agustus 2008

9 Indonesia s Best Wealth Creators Pada 11 September 2008 SMGR yang masuk kategori Industri Dasar dan Kimia menduduki peringkat teratas Perusahaan Pencipta Kekayaan bagi investor. Yang diselenggarakan oleh lembaga pemeringkat international Stern Stewart & Co.

10 Konvensi Mutu Indonesia (IQC) 4 kelompok mutu yang mewakili perusahaan di ajang IQC2008 di Medan Nopember 2008, SG kembali berhasil memboyong penghargaan 2 emas dan 2 perak.

11 Anugerah Business Review 28 November 2008 perusahaan meraih Peringkat IV kategori operasional manajemen, sebuah penghargaan Anugerah Business Review dari majalah nasional Business Review.

12 Investment Award 2008 Pada 10 Desember 2008 Semen Gresik kembali menorehkan prestasi yang sang membanggakan, memperoleh penghargaan Investment Award 2008 yang Diserahkan langsung oleh Wakil Presiden RI M. Jusuf Kalla kepada Direktur Utama Dwi Soetjipto di Kantor Wakil Presiden

13 Tokoh Finansial Indonesia 2008 Pada tanggal 17 Desember 2008 SG mendapatkan penghargaan Tokoh Finansial Indonesia 2008 versi majalah Investor untuk kategori Perusahaan Non Keuangan, Sektor Industri Semen dan Pupuk.
