F. Materi Pokok Decriptive Text. Definition : Decriptive text adalah alah atu jeni tek yang menjelakan gambaran eeorang atau benda (It i kind of genre that ha the pecific function to give decription about an object (peron, thing and place).

2 Tujuan : Tujuannya adalah mengambarkan orang, tempat atau benda tertentu (To decribe a particular peron, place or thing). Jadi, bia dikatakan bahwa decriptive text ini adalah tek yang menjelakan tentang eperti apakah orang atau uatu benda didekripikan, baik bentuknya, ifat-ifatnya, jumlahnya dan lain-lain. Generic Structure Identification : Berii tentang identifikai hal/ eeorang yang akan didekripikan (a tatement containing a topic to decribe) Decription : Menggambarkan bagian, kualita, maupun ciri cirri uatu benda, orang atau tempat terrtentu. Yang digambarkan adalah ebagai berikut: - Part/thing (phyical appearance) - Qualitie (degree of beauty, excellence, or worth or value) - Other characteritic (prominent apect that are unique) Language Feature a. Focu on Specific Participant (Foku kepada Hal / orang / tempat ecara khuu) b. The ue of adjective to clarify the noun, and alo to decribe the qualitie. It mean that in decriptive text, writer ue adjective to clarify the noun. For example, a beautiful beach, a handome man, etc. c.
