The main function is to limit the speed and maintain maximum speed on the unit. Speed limit works when a speed sensor is already reading the maximum limit (ex. 5 km/h) by means of the sensor provides a signal to the solenoid cut off to reduce the supply of fuel to the injection pump so that the rotation rpm will drop in the idle position. Speed limits will also provide an alarm/ warning at a predetermined maximum speed.
