Students must be able to understand what poetry is. 2. Students must be able to explain their experience on the process and steps of reading and understanding a poem. Students understand what poetry is and explains the experience of the process of reading and understanding a poem This is important because the students will learn empirically based on their own experience about what poetry is and some steps of the process of understanding it. 1.
