1 THE INFLUENCE OF EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE TO SERVANT LEADERSHIP(A CASE STUDY AT BANDUNG THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY) Victoria ABSTRACT The aim of this study is to examine whether emotional intelligence (EI) affects servant leadership (SL) performance positively. The survey is done at Bandung Theological Seminary. The subjects of this study 50 items (100%) Bandung Theological Seminary student s can used. The outliers, validity, reliability, descriptive statistic and interconstruk correlation tests were conducted before hypothesis is tested. The linier regression analysis was used to examine the hypothesis and it was in condition supported. The result shows that emotional intelligence influences servant leadership performance positively. The implications of this study were discussed and the suggested research will be advanced during the process. Keyboards: servant leadership; emotional intelligence. x
2 DAMPAK KECERDASAN EMOSIONAL TERHADAP KEPEMIMPINAN MELAYANI (SEBUAH STUDI KASUS PADA SEKOLAH TINGGI TEOLOGI BANDUNG) Victoria ABSTRAK Studi ini bertujuan untuk menguji apakah kecerdasan emosional memiliki dampak terhadap kepemimpinan melayani secara positif. Penelitian dilakukan di Sekolah Tinggi Teologi Bandung. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 50 data yang terkumpul yang dapat digunakan setelah pengujian outliers (100%). Beberapa pengujian yang dilakukan sebelum hipotesis diuji adalah pengujian validitas, reliabilitas, statsitik deskriptif dan korelasi. Hipotesis diuji dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linier sederhana dan hipotesis didukung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan emosional memiliki dampak secara positif terhadap kepemimpinan melayani. Berbagai implikasi temuan dan saran untuk penelitian mendatang studi ini akan dibahas lebih lanjut. Kata kunci: kecerdasan emosional; kepemimpinan melayani. xi
