1 ABSTRACT This study was aimed to determine whether there is a significant effect of the cost of quality product is damaged. This research was conducted at PT Pupuk Kujang, Cikampek with data collected through the secondary data. The classic assumption test and a simple regression test was used to analyze the data using SPSS Data were tested previously been qualified from normality test, heteroscedasticity, autocorrelation test, regression test is simple and partial regression test. The result was showed that the quality costs have a significant influence on the defective product. Keywords: cost of quality, defective products vii
2 ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh signifikan biaya kualitas terhadap produk rusak. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di PT Pupuk Kujang, Cikampek dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui data sekunder. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji asumsi klasik dan uji regresi sederhana dengan menggunakan SPSS Data yang diuji sebelumnya telah memenuhi syarat dari uji normalitas, uji heteroskedastisitas, uji autokorelasi, uji regresi sederhana dan uji regresi berganda secara parsial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa biaya kualitas memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap produk rusak. Kata kunci: biaya kualitas, produk rusak viii
