1 ABSTRACT Global crisis that happen in 2007 th has made a negative impact for Indonesia stock market, such as stock market price decreasing significantly. This condition make rearcher interested in doing research. This research is studying about Earning Per Share (EPS) and Price Earning Ratio (PER) toward stock price and using companies in chemistry sector that include in LQ45 since 2007 th to 2008 th as samples. Samples are taken using purposive sampling methode. Multiple regression methode was use as data analysis methode. Data that used in this research is pooling data with helpful device the SPSS program. The result of this research showed that EPS and PER have a simultaneous effect toward the stock price. While in partial the EPS ratio have a positive effect toward the stock price and PER haven t. This result indicated that investment decision that investor made while the stock market still in the impact of crisis global, they prefer chossing stock with income criteria a than measuring the suitable stock price using PER. 2 ABSTRAK Krisis global yang terjadi pada tahun 2007 telah membawa dampak buruk bagi pasar modal di Indonesia, seperti menurunnya harga saham secara tajam. Kondisi ini telah menarik perhatian penulis untuk melakukan sebuah penelitian. Penelitian ini membahas mengenai Earning Per Share (EPS) dan Price Earning Ratio (PER) terhadap harga saham dengan menggunakan sampel perusahaan yang berada dalam sektor industri dasar dan kimia dan tercatat kedalam Liquid 45 selama periode Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Metode regresi berganda digunakan sebagai metode analisis data. Data yang digunakan adalah data pooling dengan menggunakan alat bantu SPSS Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa EPS dan PER memiliki pengaruh yang simultan terhadap harga saham, sedangkan secara parsial EPS memiliki pengaruh yang positif terhadap harga saham tetapi PER tidak memiliki pengaruh yang positif terhadap harga saham. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa dalam pengambilan keputusan investor selama pasar modal berada didalam pengaruh krisis global, investor cenderung memilih saham dengan kriteria laba yang diinginkan daripada mengukur kelayakan harga saham dengan menggunakan PER.
