ABSTRAK Sudut pandang individu dalam mengambil keputusan dipengaruhi oleh beberapa hal salah satunya variabel demografi dan kenyamanan individu dalam mengambil risiko. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh signifikan dari variabel demografi dan risk tolerance individu terhadap keputusan investasi pada individu di Universitas Kristen Maranatha. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 119 responden. Penelitian menggunakan kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis chi-square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa usia, pekerjaan dan risk tolerance memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan investasi serta variabel demografi dan risk tolerance berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap keputusan investasi. ABSTRACT An individual s point of view in terms of decisions making is influenced by some factors like demographic variables and the level of tolerance a person can take while taking some risk. This research is aim to analyze a significant impact of demographic variables and individual risk tolerance towards investment decision making at Maranatha Christian University. Responses are gathered using a questionnaire and administered to 119 respondents. The research shows that age, gender, occupation and risk tolerance have a significant impact towards investment decision making, also those variables are simultaneously impact investment decision making.
