NEW STRENGTHENING YOUR LEADERSHIP TALENT Menjawab Masalah Apa Menjadi pemimpin tidak hanya dipengaruhi oleh pengetahuan mengenai kepemimpinan dan keterampilan teknis (hard skill), namun juga ditentukan oleh karakter individu dan perilaku dalam memimpin (soft skill). Dalam banyak situasi, kita menemui seseorang telah mengetahui berbagai konsep kepemimpinan, akan tetapi masih belum mampu menampilkan kepemimpinan yang diharapkan. Hal ini dapat saja terjadi karena individu tersebut kurang memahami kekuatan dan karakternya dalam memimpin, serta perilaku yang diperlukan untuk menunjang ketrampilan teknis sebagai pemimpin. Setiap individu memiliki kekuatan yang membentuk tipe kepemimpinan berbeda. Gagal dalam mengenali kekuatan pribadi akan berdampak pada kepemimpinan yang tidak optimal. Selain itu, soft skill seperti kemampuan mengelola emosi, keberanian mengambil tindakan, dan kemampuan berinteraksi dalam kelompok juga memegang peranan penting dalam memimpin. Kekhasan dalam pelatihan ini adalah setiap peserta diberikan informasi dan laporan tertulis mengenai karakter dan kekuatannya, sehingga mereka akan dapat memanfaatkan kekuatan dan tipe kepemimpinan yang mereka miliki. Pelatihan ini juga akan memfasilitasi peserta untuk mengembangkan soft skill yang diperlukan agar efektif dalam mengarahkan dan membangun tim mencapai tujuan organisasi. Problems To Be Addressed Being a leader is not only influenced by one s knowledge about leadership and technical skill (hard skill), but also by individual characters as well as their soft skill as a leader. In many cases, we find someone who understands the various concepts of leadership, yet they are still not able to present the expected leadership behavior. This situation could be caused by one s lack of understanding of their strength and character in being a leader, as well as the behavior required to support their technical skills as a leader. Everyone has their own strength that forms different styles of leadership. Failure to recognize our own individual strength will make our leadership ineffective. Moreover, soft skills such as the ability to manage emotions, the courage to take actions, and the ability to interact effectively in groups also take a major role in leadership. The uniqueness of this training is that every participant will be given information and written report that sums up their own characters and strength, so that they will be able to utilize their strength and leadership style that they possess. This training will also urge the participants to develop the soft skills required to ensure the effectiveness in directing the staff and building their teams, in order to achieve organizational goals.
