BUSINESS MODEL CANVAS Menjawab Masalah Apa Persaingan usaha yang makin ketat dan tuntutan pengguna yang makin tinggi menyebabkan perusahaan perlu selalu memperbaharui Business Model-nya. Sebuah Business Model yang baik menjelaskan dari mana dan bagaimana sebuah organisasi memperoleh uang, apa keunikan yang ditawarkan kepada pelanggannya serta bagaimana organisasi tersebut memenuhi janji kepada pelanggannya. Bahkan, organisasi nirlaba (non profit) pun perlu selalu mencari cara baru dan segar agar penyedia dana (sebagai pelanggan) bersedia senantiasa mendanai kegiatan mereka. Men-desain Business Model Unggulan merupakan paspor bagi organisasi yang ingin unggul dan menuju Samudra Biru (Blue Ocean), suatu arena yang teduh, jauh meninggalkan pesaing yang bersaing di tepian laut merah yang penuh dengan darah (Red Ocean). Pendekatan yang digunakan menitik-beratkan pada pendekatan Business Model Canvas yang menggunakan metode visual yang menarik. Pendekatan baru ini (diperkenalkan di tahun 2010) telah digunakan di lebih dari 450 organisasi unggul di kancah global dan diaplikasikan oleh puluhan organisasi di tanah air yang didampingi oleh PPM-Manajemen. A winning business model explains clearly how an organization obtain its revenues, what uniqueness are offered, and how well does the organization fulfill its promises to the customers. Even a non-profit organization should constantly search for new funding to cover their operational expenses. Crafting a winning business model is a passport to the so-called blue ocean, a remote place in which competition is irrelevant. This place is far from the red ocean which is characterized by bloodshed due to a fierce competition. Our program uses the Business Model Canvas approach, which emphasizes on a highly informative visual method. This new approach, introduced in 2010, has been used by over 450 organizations globally. In Indonesia, PPM-Manajemen has already assisted many organizations in designing their new business model using a contextualized Business Model Canvas approach.
