ANALISIS TEGANGAN - REGANGAN - WAKTU PADA KONSOLIDASI BIOT DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN PEMODELAN TANAH " SOFT - SOIL (CAP) "

Abstract. The problem of consolidation on clay in geotechnical engineering is a very important matter, during now the analysis which is often utilized using the 1-D consolidation theory by Terzaghi (1924), is assummed that deformation and flowing of excess pore water pressure are only vertical direction, and the relationship of stress strain is not depend on time. Biot (1941) developed the theory of Terzaghi consolidation with ge neralizing such as the flowing of excess pore water pressure and strain occurred to a 3-D (Multy Dimension Case), the relationship of stress - srain, and excess pore water pressure depend on time ( transient function), on the solution involves the couple process between the relationship of stress strain deformation and the flowing through porous media. The research can show the relationship of stress strain time of Biot's consolidation by finite element analysis, which has been implemented to PLAXIS application program, reviewed basic theory of soil-modeling and consolidation. Furthermore, with the application program mentioned above is simulated the implementation of Sei-Rempang Dam Construction in Batam Island in which the implementation utilizing Vertical drain, with the monitoring system which consist of Settlement Plate, Pneumatic Piezometer and Inclinometer. Vertical drain verification has been done on this reseach which has been installed in the field from local conditions to plane strain condition, excess pore water pressure is analysed, vertical displacement, horizontal displacement, stress, strain toward time, and stress strain, using soft-soil (Cap) model, which is compared to analytical calculation, and quantitative value measurement in the field. The result of this research showed that there is an adjustment from the Plaxis program response, toward the quantitative value which is measured in the field and analytical calculation, is obtained ; excess pore water pressure which has been generated on Plaxis response on the 215' day, 24,725 kpa, field 24,53 kpa and analytical 32,04 kpa, with the average of consolidation degree which has been obtained until the 320 0 day, Plans 88,95 %, field 88,08 % and analytical 90,00 %. Vertical deformation of Plaxis response 0,835 m, field 0,8 m and analytical 0,786 m, horizontal displacement response Plaxis 0,179 m, field 0, 30 m. Base on the condition, so that for the same kind of works should be used soft-soil model.
Abstrak. Masalah konsolidasi pada tanah lempung dalam rekayasa geoteknik merupakan hal yang sangat penting, selama ini analisis yang Bering dipakai menggunakan teori konsolidasi 1-D clan Terzaghi (1924), diasumsikan deformasi dan pengaliran excess pore water pressure hanya arah vertikal saja, dan hubungan tegangan regangan tidak tergantung waktu. Biot (1941) memperluas teori konsolidasi Terzaghi dengan memperumum proses pengaliran excess pore water pressure dan regangan yang terjadi keruang 3-D (Nulty Dimensional Case), hubungan tegangan-regangan, dan excess Pore Water Pressure tergantung waktu (fungsi transient), yang didalam solusinya melibatkan proses peng " couple "an dari hubungan tegangan regangan deformasi dan pengaliran melalui media porous. Pada penelitian ini dipelajari hubungan tegangan - regangan waktu dari konsolidasi Biot, dengan analisis elemen hingga, yang telah diimplementasikan pada program aplikasi PLAXIS, direview kembali teori dasar pemodelan tanah dan konsolidasi. Selanjutnya dengan Program aplikasi tersebut disimulasikan pelaksanaan Pembangunan Dam Sei-Rempang dipulau Batam yang dalam pelaksanaannya menggunakan Vertikal drain, dengan sistim monitoring terdiri dari Settlement plate, Pneumatic Piezometer dan Inclinometer. Pada stud ini dilakukan verifrkasi vertikal drain yang terpasang dilapangan dari kondisi setempat-setempat kekondisi plane strain, dianalisis excess pore water pressure, penurunan vertikal, horizontal displacement, tegangan, regangan terhadap waktu, dan tegangan regangan, dengan menggunakan model Soft-soil (Cap), dibandingkan dengan perhitungan analitis, dan kuantitahf yang terukur dilapangan. Hasil stud menunjukan bahwa adanya kesesuaian dari respons program Plaxis, terhadap kuantitahf yang terukur dilapangan dan perhitungan analitis, diperoleh : excess pore water pressure yang dibangkitkan pada respons Plaxis hari ke-215, 24, 725 kpa, lapangan 24,53 kpa dan analitis 32,04 kpa, dengan derajat konsolidasi rata-rata yang dicapai sampai hari Ice 320, Plaxis 88,95 %, lapangan 88,08 % dan analitis 90,00 %. Deformasi vertikal respons Plaxis 0.835 m, lapangan 0.80 m dan analitis a786 m, horizontal displacement respons Plans 0.179 m, lapangan 0.30 m. Berdasarkan keadaan tersebut, maka untuk selanjutnya pada pekerjaan yang sejenis bisa digunakan Model Soft-soil.
