ABSTRACT The quality test study of refilled drinking water which sold in Salatiga area and its vicinity, had been conducted out since July 2010 until January 2011, in the Laboratory of Basic Chemistry and Laboratory of Environmental Chemistry, Faculty of Science and Mathematics, Satya Wacana Christian University, Salatiga. The objectives of this study are: First, to determine the physical, chemical and microbiological quality of refilled drinking water which sold in Salatiga area and its vicinity. Second, to compare the physical, chemical and microbiological quality of refilled drinking water based on The Ministry of Health of Indonesia No: 907/MENKESISK/Vll/2002 Tentang Syarat-Syarat dan Pengawasan Kualitas Air Minum. Microbiological analysis was examinated using MPN (Most Probable Number) method. Data of microbiological, physical and chemical parameters analysis of refilled drinking water were compared with the regulation declared by The Ministry of Health of Indonesia No: 907/MENKES/SKIV//12002 Tentang Syarat-Syarat dan Pengawasan Kualitas Air Minum. The results of the study show that 36 refilled drinking water depot in Salatiga area and its vicinity based on the physical terms, the temperature and turbidity of drinking water almost all depot are complied, while the chemical terms according to ammonia, TDS, ph, hardness, and total Iron are also complied based on The Ministry of Health of Indonesia No: 907/MENKESISK/V//12002 Tentang Syarat-Syarat dan Pengawasan Kualitas Air Minum. Observed from the amount of Coliform bacteria, the refilled drinking water quality could be classified as : AMDK and the 18 depot are in good quality, and the rest of the 18 depot are not in good quality. 111
