CHAPTER VII MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY Penjelasan Teknis Technical Notes 1. Pengumpulan data industri besar dan sedang dilakukan melalui Survei Industri Besar dan Sedang dilaksanakan setiap tahun secara lengkap (sensus) sejak tahun 1975. Survey Industri Besar dan Sedang mencakup semua perusahaan industri yang mempunyai tenaga kerja 20 orang atau lebih dengan menggunakan kuesioner II A. 2. Klasifikasi industri yang digunakan dalam survei ini berdasar kepada Klasifikasi Baku Lapangan Usaha Indonesia (KBLI). KBLI adalah klasifikasi lapangan usaha yang berdasar kepada International Standard Industrial Classification of All Economic Activities (ISIC) revisi 3 yang telah disesuaikan dengan kondisi Indonesia. 3. Industri Pengolahan adalah suatu kegiatan ekonomi yang melakukan kegiatan mengubah suatu barang dasar secara mekanis, kimia, atau dengan tangan sehingga menjadi barang jadi/setengah jadi, dan atau barang yang kurang nilainya menjadi barang yang lebih tinggi nilainya, dan sifatnya lebih dekat kepada pemakai akhir. Termasuk dalam kegiatan ini adalah jasa industri dan pekerjaan perakitan (assembling). 1. Data collection of large and medium scale manufacturing is conducted through The Large and Medium Manufacturing Establishment Survey that has been done annually for all industries (census) since 1975. Large and Medium Manufacturing Establishment Survey covers all manufactures/ industries with 20 workers or more by questionaire II A. 2. The industrial classification adopted in this survey refers to Klasifikasi Baku Lapangan Usaha Indonesia (KBLI). KBLI is classifi-cation of economic activities based on the International Standard Industrial Classification of All Economic Activities (ISIC rev. 3) that has been modified according to the local condition in Indonesia. 3. Manufacturing industry is defined as an economic activity processing basic goods mechanically, chemicals or manually into final or intermediate goods. It is also defined as processing of lower value goods into higher value goods as final or intermediate products. The activities also include services for manufacturing and assembling. INDUSTRI PENGOLAHAN BAB VII 4. Jasa Industri adalah kegiatan industri yang melayani keperluan pihak lain. Pada kegiatan ini bahan baku disediakan oleh pihak lain sedangkan pihak pengolah hanya melakukan pengolahannya dengan mendapat imbalan sebagai balas jasa (upah maklon). 5. Perusahaan atau usaha industri adalah suatu unit (kesatuan) usaha yang melakukan kegiatan ekonomi, bertujuan menghasilkan barang atau jasa, terletak pada suatu bangunan atau lokasi tertentu, dan mempunyai catatan administrasi tersendiri mengenai produksi dan struktur biaya serta ada seorang atau lebih yang bertanggung jawab atas usaha tersebut. 6. Industri pengolahan dikelompokkan ke dalam 4 golongan berdasarkan banyaknya pekerja, yaitu: a. Industri Besar (100 orang pekerja atau lebih), b. Industri Sedang/Menengah (20-99 orang pekerja), c. Industri Kecil (5-19 orang pekerja), d. Industri Mikro (1-4 orang pekerja). 4. Services for manufacturing is defined as a manufacturing activity which serving other manufacturing establishments. In this case, raw materials are supplied by others while the workers are paid as a compensation for processing raw materials. 5. A manufacturing establishment is defined as a production unit engaged in economic activity, producing goods or services, located in a building or in a certain location, keeping a business record concerning the production and cost structure, and having a person or more that are responsible to those activities. 6. Manufacturing industries are cate-gorized into four groups, based on the number of employees : a. Large scale manufacturing (100 employees o r more), b. Medium scale manufacturing (20-99 employees), c. Small scale manufacturing (5-19 employees), d. Micro industry (1-4 employees). 278 Kota Tangerang Dalam Angka 2014

CHAPTER VII MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY 7.1. Industri Pengolahan 7.1 Manufacturing Industry Sektor industri merupakan sektor yang dominan kontribusi terhadap perekonomian di Kota Tangerang. Pembangunan sektor ini akan memberikan dampak yang signifikan bagi masyarakat Kota Tangerang. Pembangunan industri di Kota Tangerang diarahkan untuk mendorong terciptanya struktur ekonomi yang seimbang dan kokoh dalam menciptakan landasan perekonomian yang kuat agar tumbuh dan berkembang atas kekuatan sendiri. Berdasarkan hasil survei industri besar sedang (IBS) tahun 2013 di Kota Tangerang terdapat 563 perusahaan (angka sangat sementara). Bila dirinci berdasarkan skala perusahaan terdapat 277 perusahaan besar (49,20 persen) dan 286 perusahaan sedang (50,79 persen). Jumlah perusahaan terbanyak berada di Kecamatan Jatiuwung yaitu 203 perusahaan (36,06 persen) dan mampu menyerap 81.426 orang tenaga kerja atau 45,11 persen dari seluruh tenaga kerja sektor industri di Kota Tangerang Manufactures is the most dominant sector that contributes economiy in Tangerang Municipality. The development in this sector will give significant impacts to community in the region. The development is aimed to support a strong and balanced economic structure in constructing strong base of economy so it can grow and develop on its own strength. Based on the result of Large and Medium Scale Industry Survey in 2013, there were 563 manufactures (preliminary figure). From the figure, There were 277 or 49.20 percent is large scale manufactures and 286 or 50.79 percent is medium-scale manufactures. Number of large and medium-scale industries was concentrated in Jatiuwung District, that of 203 manufactures (36.09 percent).
