1 ABSTRACT Motorized vehicle tax is a tax on ownership and/or the control of a vehicle. The subject is a Person or an embodiment that has control or ownership of the vehicle. This research is focused on the knowledge of gaining the income of the vehicle taxation in Bandung with the application of progressive and the name changing policy of four wheel vehicle. The method used in this research is the quantitative method because the information gathered from respondents using questionnaires. The sample used is gathered from 30 people from Cabang Pelayanan Dinas Pendapatan Daerah Provinsi wilayah kota Bandung 1 Pajajaran. The Results are : 1. The induction of progressive rate on the counting of four wheeled vehicle for the ownership of more than 1 wheeled vehicle. 2. There are significant effect on the application of progressive tax of vehicle dan the name changing policy towards the income of vehicle tax in Bandung partially or simultaneously. 3. With the application of Progressive rate on Vehicle tax, the income on four wheeled tax is smaller than the name changing fees. Keywords : Progressive Rate, BBN, PKB income. vi
2 ABSTRAK Pajak kendaraan bermotor adalah pajak atas kepemilikan dan/atau penguasaan kendaraan bermotor. Subjek dari pajak kendaraan bermotor sendiri adalah orang pribadi atau badan yang memiliki dan/atau menguasai kendaraan bermotor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerimaan pajak kendaraan bermotor di Bandung dengan penerapan pajak progresif dan bea balik nama kendaraan bermotor roda empat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan metode kuantitatif karena informasi yang dikumpulkan dari responden menggunakan kuesioner. Sampel yang digunakan untuk penelitian pada Cabang Pelayanan Dinas Pendapatan Daerah Provinsi Wilayah Kota Bandung I Pajajaran berjumlah 30 orang dan Wajib Pajak berjumlah 30 orang. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah : 1. Pengenaan tariff progresif dalam penghitungan Pajak Kendaraan Bermotor roda empat untuk kepemilikan kendaraan bermotor lebih dari satu. 2. Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara penerapan pajak progresif kendaraan bermotor dan Bea Balik Nama (BBN) terhadap penerimaan pajak kendaraan bermotor di Kota Bandung baik secara parsial maupun simultan. 3. Dengan diterapkannya tarif progresif pada Pajak Kendaraan Bermotor, penerimaan Pajak Kendaraan Bermotor roda empat lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan penerimaan bea balik nama.
