DEFINITION A blowdryer or hair dryer is an electromechanical device designed to blow normal or hot air over damp hair, in order to accelerate the evaporationof water particles and dry the hair. Blowdryers allow better control over the shape and style of hair, by accelerating and controlling the formation of temporary hydrogen bonds inside each strand. These hydrogen bonds are very powerful (allowing for stronger hair shaping than even the sulfur bonds formed by permanent waving products), but are temporary and extremely vulnerable to humidity. They disappear with a single washing of the hair.

PART FUNCTION Cover This Protects all the internal parts of the Hair dryer. Side Cover It protects the Motor and acts as a vent for the inflow of air.it also prevents people from touching the motor accidentally. Nozzle This concentrates the flow of air in a particular direction. Motor Its main function is to turn the fan found inside of the dryer Fan It blows air over the heating coils
SYSTEM OF HAIRDRYER
1. A hair dryer needs only two parts to generate the blast of hot air that dries your hair: 2. a simple motor-driven fan 3. a heating element 4. Hair dryers use the motor-driven fan and the heating element to transform electric energy into convective heat. The whole mechanism is really simple: 5. When you plug in the hair dryer and turn the switch to "on," current flows through the hair dryer.
1. The circuit first supplies power to the heating element. In most hair dryers, this is a bare, coiled wire, but in models that are more expensive there can be fancier materials in action, like a tourmaline-infused ceramic coating. 2. The current then makes the small electric motor spin, which turns the fan. 3. The airflow generated by the fan is directed down the barrel of the hairdryer, over and through the heating element. 4. As the air flows over and through the heated element, the generated heat warms the air by forced convection. 5. The hot air streams out the end of the barrel. 6. Swicth atau saklar berfungsi untuk menjalankan motor dan elemen pemanas. Komponen ini mempunyai tiga posisi on, motor bekerja dan panas dapat diatur pada posisi sedang atau panas sekali. Saklar ini ditempatkan pada pegangan pengering rambut sehingga mudah dioperasikan 3. Motor, berfungsi untuk memutar kipas dan menghebuskan udara panas. Motor menggunakan kutub permanen sedang rotornya sama dengan rotor motor DC

Perawatan alat pengering rambut Komponen-komponen dalam pengering rambut, sering dikotori debu dan rontokan rambut/lepasan rambut. Selama pengering rambut dipakai, debu dan helai rambut masuk ke dalam pengering melalui lubang udara Agar pengering rambut awet perlu dilakukan perawatan secara periodik yaitu dengan jalam membersihkan dan melumasi bagian dari komponen Sebelum melakukan perawatan langkah pertama yang harus dilakukan adalah membebaskan pengering rambut dari sumber teganga dengan jalan melepas kontak
