Jurusan Kimia, FMPIA Universitas Udayana 2. Abstract High fat diet could elevate the concentration of blood flasma fat and obesity, which could increase the risk factor of coronary heart disease. The objective of this experiment was to study the antioxidant activity and also anti obesity of flest Red Dragon Fruit (Hylocereus costarioensis) on female wistar rats which were induced with high fat diet. The statistical analysis used in this experiment was Randomized Post Test Only Controlled Design.Twenty seven head of female wistar rats were used in this experiment. They were divided into 3 groups with 3 replicates. Group 1 (control group) was given standard diet, Group 2 was given high fat diet and group 3 was given high fat diet plus extract of Red Dragon Fruit in the amount of 100 mg per kg body weight. Parameters measured were : body weight change, body nasoanal length change, and feed intake were recorded every week.. After 30 days observation, blood samples were collected for profil lipid analysis. The last three days of observation feses was collected for determation of the lipid and cholesterol The significance differences between mean values for the parameter measured were computed according to One Way Anova continued with Post Hoc Test. The results showed, there were significant decrease (P<0.05) in body weight, obesity Lee Index, organs weight, fat weight, total blood cholesterol, Low Density Lipoprotein (IDL), triglycerides, VLDL, ratio of total cholesterol/hdl of rats in Group 3 compared with rats in group 1 and group 2, while in contrast the concentration of rats HDL in group 3 significantly increased compared to rats in group 1 and group 2. It can be concluded that the extract of Red Dragon Fruit had the potency as anti obesity, anti cholesterol and could prevent the possibility of obesity stress and inflammation to avoid arteriosclerosis. Simpulan dan Saran Asupan ekstrak daging buah naga dapat berperan sebagai antiobesitas dengan menurunkan kolesterol total, kolesterol LDL, Trigliserida, VLDL, rasio kolesterol total/ kolesterol HDL dan meningkatkan kolesterol HDL plasma darah tikus wistar yang diberikan makanan tinggi lemak. Saran Perlu dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut untuk mengetahui aktivitas senyawa murni dari ekstrak daging buah naga dan kulit buah naga terhadap konsentrasi profil lipid baik di serum, hati, serta feses tikus wistar, sebab khasiat antidislipidemia dari senyawa murni ditentukan oleh struktur kimia dari masing-masing senyawa. Perlu dilakukan uji klinik terhadap khasiat daging buah naga pada manusia sehat dan sakit dengan melihat beberapa indikator profil lipid di darah dan feses
