ABSTRACT O LAUNDRY is a company which is engaged in laundering clothes dry and cleaner. O LAUNDRY Gegerkalong located in Bandung. The purpose of this research is to investigate the implementation of promotional costs that are used O LAUNDRY in increasing their income. Research conducted using descriptive methods, the method of research that attempt to describe what was done by a company based on factors that exist within the company and analyze the data, so that a conclusion can be drawn. Statistical data obtained from O LAUNDRY namely the promotion of cost data and revenue data month from March to December 2010, where the data obtained are processed, analyzed, and processed according to the theory they have learned. From this research the authors, the overall results obtained regression equation is Y = 2566053 + 0755 X, but it also obtained the determination coefficient (R) by 0.2% overall campaign costs do not affect the level of income, This is reinforced also by testing hypotheses previously which have no effect on the cost of promotion to O-level income Laundry. influenced the rest of factors - other factors that are not included in the study. The results above show that the O LAUNDRY has conducted promotion activities are not good, with the absence of relationship between the cost of promotion to the level of income. ABSTRAK O LAUNDRY merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang jasa pencucian baju (dry and cleaner). O LAUNDRY berlokasi di Gegerkalong Bandung. Dalam tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan biaya promosi yang digunakan O LAUNDRY untuk meningkatkan pendapatannya Penelitian yang dilakukan mengunakan metode deskriptif, yaitu metode penelitian yang berusaha menggambarkan apa yang dilakukan oleh perusahaan berdasarkan faktor-faktor yang ada dalam perusahaan tersebut dan menganalisis data, sehingga dapat ditarik suatu kesimpulan. Data statistik yang diperoleh dari O LAUNDRY yaitu data biaya promosi dan data pendapatan bulan Maret Desember 2010, dimana data yang diperoleh diolah, dianalisis, dan diproses berdasarkan teori yang telah dipelajari. Dari penelitian yang dilakukan penulis, maka hasil keseluruhan yang didapatkan persamaan regresinya, adalah Y = 2566053 + 0.755 X, selain itu didapat juga koefisien determinasinya ( R ) keseluruhan sebesar 0.2% biaya promosi tidak berpengaruh terhadap tingkat pendapatan, Hal tersebut diperkuat juga dengan uji hipotesa sebelumnya dimana tidak terdapat pengaruh biaya promosi terhadap tingkat pendapatan O Laundry. selebihnya dipengaruhi faktor faktor lainnya yang tidak dimasukan dalam penelitian. Hasil penelitian di atas menunjukkan bahwa O LAUNDRY telah melaksanakan kegiatan Promosi tidak baik, dengan tidak terdapatnya hubungan antara biaya promosi dengan tingkat pendapatan. Adapun saran yang dapat diberikan penulis setelah mengadakan penelitian ini yaitu O LAUNDRY harus memilih kembali bentuk promosi yang baik dan cocok. Kata kunci : Biaya Promosi, Tingkat pendapatan v
