Connecting & Using the BGAN for Internet Access Menghubungkan dan Menggunakan Alat BGAN 1. Set the BGAN on a flat, stable surface outside where you can see the screen. Using a Compass A compass is used for determining direction. It has 4 main directions (North, South, East and West), and 360 degrees. Example: SE is 135 degrees. NE is 45 degrees. When setting up the BGAN, it will tell you the direction the BGAN needs to face to communicate with the satellite. Normally, it should give a direction such as Southeast (SE), but sometimes it will give the degrees instead. For example, instead of saying SE, it might say 120 degrees. If you look on the compass above, you ll be able to determine that 120 degrees is between E and SE. On the BGAN, the compass does not include the numbers of the degrees. It has white lines (see picture above).
Menggunakan Kompas Sebuah kompas digunakan untuk menentukan arah. Sebuah kompas memiliki empat arah utama (Utara, Selatan, Timur, dan Barat), dan 360 derajat. Pada misalnya: SE sama dengan 135 derajat. NE sama dengan 45 derajat. Apabila menyiapkan alat BGAN, arah yang alat BGAN harus menghadap untuk berkomunikasi dengan satelit akan muncul di Biasanya, arah seperti Tenggara (SE) akan muncul di layar, tetapi kadangkadang derajat akan muncul sebagai gantinya. Pada misalnya, bukannya SE akan muncul, mungkin 120 derajat akan muncul. Pada gambar kompas di atas, 120 derajat terletak di antara E dan SE. Pada kompas alat BGAN, tidak ada nomor derajat, tetapi ada garis yang putih (lihat gambar di atas).
