3.1. Penduduk Penduduk merupakan salah satu sumber daya pembangunan, karena penduduk itu sendiri berperan penting dalam proses pembangunan. Berdasarkan hasil registrasi jumlah penduduk Kabupaten Klungkung Tahun 2010 berjumlah 185.272 jiwa. 3.1 Population People is a development resource because people it self has an important role in development process. According to the registration result of total people in Klungkung Regency in 2010 is about 185.272 people. Population and Manpower Penyebaran penduduk tidak merata di empat kecamatan, yaitu 74,05% berada di daratan Klungkung (Banjarangkan, Dawan dan Klungkung), sedangkan 25,95% berada di Kepulauan Nusa Penida (Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan dan Nusa Ceningan). Jumlah penduduk di masing-masing kecamatan yaitu Nusa Penida 48.075 jiwa, Banjarangkan 39.292 jiwa, Klungkung 57.210 jiwa dan Dawan 40.695 jiwa. Dengan demikian terdapat ketimpangan kepadatan penduduk di empat kecamatan, kepadatan penduduk per kilometer persegi di Kecamatan Nusa Penida 237 jiwa, Kecamatan Banjarangkan 859 jiwa, Kecamatan Klungkung 1.969 jiwa dan Kecamatan Dawan 1.089 jiwa. Jumlah kepala keluarga setiap tahun bertambah dan pada tahun 2010 berjumlah 48.587 KK dengan rata-rata anggota rumah tangga 4 orang per KK. Rasio jenis kelamin (sex ratio) adalah perbandingan penduduk laki-laki dan perempuan. Pada tahun 2010 sex ratio sebesar 97%. Jika dilihat sex ratio per kecamatan, sex ratio tertinggi terdapat di Klungkung yaitu sebesar 98% dan terendah di kecamatan Nusa Penida dan Dawan sebesar 96%. Number of peoples in each district that is Nusa Penida 48.075 peoples, Banjarangkan 39.292 peoples, Klungkung 57.210 peoples, Dawan 40.695 peoples. Thus there is an imbalance people density in four district. People density peoples by square kms in Nusa Penida 237 peoples, Banjarangkan 859 peoples, Klungkung 1.969 peoples, and Dawan 1.089 peoples. Number of Household increasingly year by year and in 2010 amounted to 48.587 household with with average family size 4 peoples each household. Sex ratio is comparation (in number) number of males and females. In 2010 sex ratio reached 97%. If looked by district, the highest sex ratio reach 98% in Klungkung and the lowest sex ratios about 96% in Nusa Penida and Dawan 36 Klungkung In Figures 2011
3.2. Ketenagakerjaan Penduduk usia kerja adalah penduduk yang berumur 15 tahun keatas, mereka terdiri dari angkatan kerja dan bukan angkatan kerja. Perbandingan penduduk yang tergolong angkatan kerja terhadap penduduk usia kerja dikenal dengan Tingkat Partisipasi Angkatan Kerja (TPAK). Dimana pada tahun 2010 sebesar 83,31% 3.2 Manpower Working Aged Population is people aged 15 years and over, they consist of economically active and non economically active. The comparation of people how classified into economically active to the working age population known with labor force participation rate(tpak).in 2010 labor force participation rate is about 83,31%. Berdasarkan Lapangan pekerjaan dari 102.337 orang yang bekerja, 50,90% bekerja di sektor pertanian, 18,45% bekerja di sektor perdagangan, hotel dan rumah makan 10,92 % disektor jasa dan di sektor lainnya yang masing-masing tidak lebih dari 10% According to vocation classification of 102.337 workers, 50,90% of them works in agriculture, 18,45 % works in trade, hotel, and restaurant, and another sectors which not more than 10% each.
