5 General Instruction for Applying to the Early Childhood Educational Program Peraturan Umum untuk Pendaftaran ke Program Pendidikan Early Childhood 1. Parents are welcome to apply to enroll the child in the HighScope schools at any time. The critical element is the availability of a seat for the child. Therefore, HighScope recommends that parents plan in advance and contact the school as soon as possible when considering enrolling a child in our program. Orang tua dapat kapan saja mendaftarkan anaknya ke Sekolah HighScope. Yang terpenting perlu diketahui adalah ketersedian kursi untuk anaknya tersebut di HighScope. Parents may receive general information from the staff at the Information Center Office. If parents would like additional information, a tour can be scheduled and a class room visit by the child can be arranged. The application procedures consist of several basic elements: Prosedur aplikasi terdiri atas beberapa elemen dasar, yaitu: a. Application Form Formulir aplikasi Requesting an application form (paying an application fee of Rp ,- unless the child is already enrolled in the HighScope program) and complete the information requested. All hospital admission documentation will be arranged by Sekolah HighScope Indonesia. Dalam keadaan darurat, maka seorang anak akan langsung diberikan/dibawa pengobatan darurat di rumah sakit yang telaj ditunjuk oleh Sekolah HighScope Indonesia. b. Application Interview Wawancara calon siswa All students and parents must meet with the relevant school principal. At this meeting, the principal will be able to provide additional information to parents about the program and answer questions. This is a good opportunity for the child to meet the principal. The completed application form with documentation should be available for the interview. NB: For ESES only; should the school wish to have a child screened for possible learning difficulties or problems, a screening will be scheduled with the school psychologist. After the interview with the principal, the school will make a decision to recommend accepting a student, or declining to accept a student. Parents will be notified in writing the decision. Semua siswa dan orang tua harus bertemu dengan kepala sekolah dari program terkait. Pada pertemuan ini, orang tua dapat bertanya atau menggali informasi lebih dalam mengenai program tersebut. Ini merupakan kesempatan yang bagus bagi anak dan orang tua untuk bertemu dengan kepala sekolah. Adapun sesi wawancara ini dapat dilakukan orang tua setelah melengkapi dokumen yang dibutuhkan di formulir pendaftaran dan mengembalikannya ke pihak pendaftaran sekolah. NB: Untuk program ESES; apabila sekolah menemukan indikasi anak memiliki kebutuhan atau kesulitan tertentu dalam belajar, maka sekolah akan menjadwalkan observasi tambahan bersama psikolog sekolah. Setelah wawancara dengan kepala sekolah, sekolah akan menginformasikan hasil diterima atau tidaknya secara tertulis.

6 c. Financial Commitment Komitmen Keuangan The parents of a student who has been recommended for acceptance will receive a Letter of Acceptance from the Academic Support (ACS) office. The letter of acceptance will request that parents complete arrangements for paying the required fees (enrollment and tuition). Parents must complete all required documents and bring them at the time of registration. Orang tua dari siswa yang diterima akan menerima Letter of Acceptance dari bagian Academic Support (ACS). Surat tersebut juga akan meminta orang tua untuk memenuhi kewajiban keuangan seperti yang telah ditentukan (uang enrollment dan tuituion). Orang tua juga harus sudah melengkapi semua persyaratan dokumen yang dibutuhkan, dan membawanya ketika pendaftaran. d. Exceptional Students Siswa berkebutuhan khusus Should the school wish to have a child observed and evaluated for possible learning difficulties, parents will be notified and observation and evaluations will be scheduled with the School Psychologist. After the observations and evaluations, if the child is diagnosed as exceptional student, then parents should agree to follow the procedure to place the child in the ESES program. Should there be any physical, mental, and/or social behavior condition of the child that the school does not support, then the child can not be accepted at HighScope Early Childhood Educational Program. Jika sekolah mengharapkan anak untuk diobservasi dan dievaluasi karena kemungkinan adanya kesulitan dalam belajar, orang tua akan dikonfirmasikan lebih lanjut, dan observasi dan evaluasi akan dijadwalkan dengan psikolog sekolah. Setelah melalui observasi dan evaluasi, jika ternyata anak teridentifikasi memiliki kebutuhan khusus dalam belajar, maka orang tua setuju untuk mengikutsertakan anak dalam program ESES sebagai bagian dari prosedur. Jika ternyata terdapat suatu keadaan fisik, mental, dan/atau perilaku di mana sekolah tidak dapat mengakomodasi kebutuhan anak tersebut, maka Sekolah HighScope Indonesia Program Pendidikan Early Childhood tidak dapat menerima anak tersebut.
