1 ABSTRACT Environmental management accounting has an important role in the company. To reduce the impact of environmental pollution, the company should be able to implement environmental management accounting and innovation in order to enhance the company's competitive advantage. This study aims to determine the effect of the application of environmental management accounting to the company's competitive advantage and innovation as an intervening variable. This research using questionnaires. Methods of data collection using purposive sampling counted 50 employees manufacturing industries engaged in the fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) in the Jakarta Capital City. This study used path analysis to testing and data processing using SPSS version 16.0 application assistance. The results showed that the application of environmental management accounting has a significant influence on innovation, innovation has a significant influence on the company's competitive advantage, the application of environmental management accounting has a significant influence on the company's competitive advantage, and the application of environmental management accounting has a significant influence on the company's competitive advantage with innovation as an intervening variable so that the application of environmental management accounting can affect directly and also can use innovation as an intervening variable to the company's competitive advantage. 2 ABSTRAK Akuntansi manajemen lingkungan memiliki peranan penting di dalam perusahaan. Untuk mengurangi dampak pencemaran lingkungan, perusahaan seharusnya mampu menerapkan akuntansi manajemen lingkungan dan inovasi agar dapat meningkatkan keunggulan kompetitif perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan akuntansi manajemen lingkungan terhadap keunggulan kompetitif perusahaan dan inovasi sebagai variabel intervening. Penelitian menggunakan kuesioner. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan purposive sampling sebanyak 50 orang karyawan industri manufaktur yang bergerak di bidang fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) di DKI Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan path analysis dengan pengujian dan pengolahan data menggunakan bantuan aplikasi SPSS versi Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan akuntansi manajemen lingkungan memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap inovasi, inovasi memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap keunggulan kompetitif perusahaan, penerapan akuntansi manajemen lingkungan memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap keunggulan kompetitif perusahaan, dan penerapan akuntansi manajemen lingkungan memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap keunggulan kompetitif perusahaan dengan inovasi sebagai variabel intervening sehingga penerapan akuntansi manajemen lingkungan dapat mempengaruhi secara langsung dan juga bisa menggunakan inovasi sebagai variabel intervening terhadap keunggulan kompetitif perusahaan.
